Dear colleague,
The Laserlab Europe User Training School 'Advanced Optical Techniques
in Bio-Imaging' will be held on 4-7 July 2011 in Bratislava, organised
by International Laser Centre, Bratislava under the framework of the
Laserlab Europe consortium (www.laserlab-europe.eu).
Participants will have an opportunity to benefit from the Workshop on
Advanced Optical Techniques in Bio-Imaging, organized jointly with
Becker-Hickl GmbH (July 04-05), followed by a 2-day practical training
on advanced laser and photonics setups provided in collaboration with
our industrial partners (July 06-07).
The Laserlab Europe User Community Training School offers an innovative
approach of training for young researchers in laser science, as well as
for researchers from other fields (such as biomedical sciences), to gain
insight into the principles and applications of advanced laser and
photonics techniques used in bioimaging and spectroscopy provided by
leading scientists and developers.
At the same time, the participants will receive all necessary
information to become a prospective user of the Transnational Access
Programme provided by LASERLAB-EUROPE Consortium network.
The topics of the Training School include:
* Laser microscopy and spectroscopy
* Multidimensional and spectral imaging
* TCSPC principles and data analysis
* Fluorescence lifetime spectroscopy and imaing
* Biomedical and clinical applications
Thanks to the support from the LASERLAB-EUROPE a subsistence for travel
and accomodation is available for limited number of participans from EU
countries. Please, inquire the organising committee about this possibility
when registering for the School.
